LDAP

In mobile and web applications you have developed with Kuika, you can use the LDAP option, which is a security and user authentication system, to control your users defined in your active directory windows server when logging into the application.

How to use LDAP in the project ?

Open the configuration manager in the project. Click create a new config > API

In the config you just created, under the Form Authentication heading, click on Choose Configuration and click Add New. Select LDAP from the pop-up window that appears.

Add the configuration name to Name and Active directory server IP Address to Ip Address. For the User Name and Password fields, enter the username and password of a user who is an admin in Active Directory and click the continue button.

Enter the desired information in the Set password and Reset password fields.

Click the create button on the right and save.

Choose publish sets settings when previewing on the web

Before previewing the project in the web environment, after keeping the cursor on the preview icon for a while, the panel in the image below opens.

Here, before you get the preview, you can select the LDAP option and when we get the preview, you can log in with the information of the users defined on your own server in the application.

How can we access Source Code through the platform ?

We can access it by choosing one of the Download source code or Send Executables options under Publish.

Send Executables

When you select Send Executables, an e-mail is sent to the e-mail address logged into the platform. Click on the url in this incoming mail, you will be redirected to a new tab. You can access the source code by downloading the file from here.

When the Send Executables option is clicked, the deploy process takes place on Kuika servers and the necessary UI and backend files to be placed under IIS are sent as a link to the e-mail address of the user logged into the platform. You can download these files by clicking the link in the e-mail. You can run your application by deploying these files under IIS. (You can find the installation details for installation under IIS.) When logging in from the login screen, you can log in to the application via your own server with the user name and password.

Download Source Code

If you proceed by choosing the Download source code, you will download it to your computer where you log in to the platform. If you choose Other Send Executables, a dowload url will be sent to the e-mail address of the user you are logging into the platform. Click on the url in this incoming mail, you will be redirected to a new tab. You can access the source code by downloading the file from here.

There are backend and UI source codes of the project in the zip file that comes when the Download source code option is clicked. You can make the backend and UI files work by deploying them under IIS. (You can find the installation details for installation under IIS.)
