File Download

It is a button that allows the application end user to download documents such as PDF, etc., which are not in image formats such as PNG, JPG.

Adding File Download

You can add the File Download element from the Elements panel by dragging and dropping it to the screen. If you drag it to an empty area on the screen, it is added with the Row element. If you drag it into a column, you just add the File download element.


You can make visual edits on the button element. You can give role-based authorizations to the element as well as set its visibility with show/hide/conditional options.


This is the field where you define the source of the document to be downloaded.


You can set the File Download element text statically or dynamically.


You can set the document name to be downloaded statically or dynamically.


You can use the authorization options for the File Download element.


You can manage the visibility of the element. It can always be visible, hidden, or you can make it appear or hide depending on a condition.


You can add functions that you can add to the file download element with Add Actions.
